Mr Will Stephen
Will joined Cargilfield in January 2020, beginning his teaching journey as a Graduate Assistant while completing his PGCE in History. His passion for education and pastoral care led him to become Deputy Child Protection Officer in 2022, where he played a key role in Cargilfield鈥檚 Pastoral Team. Since August 2024, Will has embraced a new challenge as Boarding Coordinator, moving on-site with his fianc茅e, Pippi. In this role, he oversees the care and well-being of pupils living in the boarding house, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment. Will works within a dedicated boarding team that collectively plays a vital role in fostering a 鈥渉ome away from home鈥� atmosphere, organising engaging activities, events, and outings that enrich the pupils鈥� experience.
Together, Will and the Boarding team is committed to making boarding at Cargilfield a safe, fun, and memorable part of each boy and girl鈥檚 school life.
Miss Cassie Matthews
Cassie has been our Girls Boarding Houseparent since January 2025. When she鈥檚 not helping to create a warm and welcoming environment in the boarding house, she loves spending time with her dog, Goose. They go on lots of adventures together, whether it鈥檚 a hike, a trip to the park, or exploring new places. She is a big fan of sports, and she tries to stay as active as possible, but definitely enjoys a cosy night in too.
In the boarding house, Cassie strives to create a supportive and fun atmosphere where every girl can feel at home. In the evenings, the girls enjoy cosy movie nights, arts and crafts sessions, and sharing fun stories before bedtime. She is committed to make sure the time she spends with the girls is memorable and you鈥檒l often find Cassie busy in the morning braiding the girls hair before their first lesson starts; a much-loved activity by the children who does weekly or flexi boarding.
